Howdy, I'm Korey and I practice photography, cinematography, and a teaching artist.

Photography is my supreme way of communicating my thoughts, capturing stories, documenting life. I do a mix of just about everything but portraiture is a focus of mine. The majority of my work covers my family, friends and strangers in Philly, recently though I've been finding myself doing self-portraiture which has been a journey.

I started my artistic practice in high school, It began in my 10th grade video production class. While shooting silly films, I connected with still photography more than the world of motion pictures (though I'm currently getting back to my roots). With the anticipation of graduation but the realization I would lose access to my school's cameras I bought my very first camera in 2019, the Canon A-1. It was the best purchase I've made in my life. Along with all the equipment to process and scan my own film, I dove into the world of film photography and truly began curating my eye for imagery.

Now I'm trying to go back to school for my Masters in Fine Art... Working on a project deeply planted in my heart.
