Howdy, I'm Korey and I practice photography, cinematography, and I am a teaching artist.

Photography is my supreme way of communicating my thoughts, capturing stories, documenting life. I do a mix of just about everything but portraiture is a focus of mine. The majority of my work covers my family, friends and strangers in Philly, recently though I've been finding myself doing more elf-portraiture which has been a journey.

I started my artistic practice in high school. It began in my 10th grade video production class. While shooting silly films, I connected with still photography more than the world of motion pictures (though I'm currently getting back to my roots). With the anticipation of graduation but the realization I would lose access to my school's cameras I bought my very first camera in 2019, the Canon A-1. It was the best purchase I've made in my life. Along with all the equipment to process and scan my own film, I dove into the world of film photography and truly began curating my eye for imagery.
